Insufficient instructions

Maybe it's just my inability. However, I found the installation instructions completely inadequate. You can read them on the product description website. Example: #5 "Remove the flange from the stem.” The flange has never been in a stem; It was in a separate package with screws and an Allen key. The instructions previously did not mention inserting the flange into the stem. I assume the instructions are clear to someone who has seen it, but I was confused by the description. (Why not post a video on the Delta website? Or the Liberty Hardware Manufacturing Corp website in Thailand where this product is made? The instructions do not include Delta or any other brand names.) Why not include a drilling template instead? 8 step guide? However, this requires a separate template for each of the three different accessory strips detailed in this guide. In short, this is a multi-product rebranding statement. My 3" tile mounting solution: I marked between the tiles where the flange for the top of the rod should be. Instead of the large eyebolt that came with it, I used a heavy duty drywall screw to avoid ruining the tiles. It's very durable. Because of the bottom flange ended up partially inside the tile no matter how it was placed I attached it to the tile with E6000 glue, the glue is usually strong but if it works I could use epoxy or opt to drill through the tile. This arrangement should be good enough for balance Better than some assist rods that only work on suction I suppose But not strong enough for full weight so beware Good aspect: The rod itself is strong and has a nice look at a good price.
