This handrail is much more attractive than the standard design. It's smaller but durable. I love the curve in it and that I could get polished chrome to match the plumbing fixtures.

Nice safety bar. I placed it next to the tub in my guest bathroom to make it easier for guests with mobility issues to get in and out of the tub. It is durable and complements the decor. I highly recommend this protective film.

This is a nice product but I think its design could be dangerous as a handrail/aid. The rod attaches to the wall brackets with set screws, similar to the screws used to attach a towel rail. If the locking screw loosens, someone could be injured. It can be good if used to help balance when entering or exiting the bath, but that's about it. Not for those who really need the extra help that the handrail provides. Returned.

If you need a handrail to hold you in the shower or bath but don't need extensive disabled facilities this is a very good choice. It is unobtrusive, high quality and has a sleek mirror chrome finish. Maybe it's just my inability. However, I found the installation instructions completely inadequate. You can read them on the product description website. Example: #5 "Remove the flange from the stem.” The flange has never been in a stem; It was in a separate package with screws and an Allen key.
