I love everything USB-c (and LED) so it seemed perfect. In practice, two tiny SMD LEDs are not very bright, although they produce a good range of colors. The switch to toggle between modes is incredibly tiny, you'll have to dig it with your fingernail. The photocell to turn on and off in the dark is a nice touch, you can certainly use it as a night light in your phone charger or on the side of your laptop.
