These Hepa air filters are great! I put one in the living room and one in the bedroom because I recently got a cat and wanted to keep the air allergen free. My roommate has mild allergies (sniffles and sniffles) but she hasn't had any allergic reactions (it's been 4 days since we brought the kitten in). Not only no reaction to the kitten, but the air quality in the room has improved significantly. It's a much less dusty smell, which is great because the pollution and dust from the city definitely seeps in through the windows. My room is a medium sized square room, about 12 feet by 10 feet, and my living room is about the same size.
