Review on 🌬️ Emerson Quiet Kool 10,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner: Powerful Cooling with Remote Control, EARC10RE1, 10000, White by Brian Potter

My old 1 1/4" wooden sleeper was too thick to fit the 1" slot on the mounting plate. We were able to fix this by unscrewing the bar and flipping it over so the higher side was resting on the window sill. In hindsight I would also add an extra L shaped support at the bottom but it seems to be holding up well with the screw holding the mounting bar to the window sill. Just an update, I LOVE this conditioner. Area 550 square feet is better than my old device in height. It's also a lot quieter. The high setting is certainly not that quiet, but I only have to turn it on briefly, then very quiet or medium. The DRY setting is also advantageous. I recommend this block.
