I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! KNOCKED HIM OUT OF THE PARK. I know people say this little bubble is uninhabitable or inhuman for fish and plants, but with a little more love thrown in at least: 1 fighting fish, 1 air stone (the wand is too powerful and looks like you're... brew your own fish) , easy, 2-3 snails reduce the number of frequent water changes to adding water when sediment settles. Of course I pushed my limits. but they all survived. Someone said that if you have live plants, snails, snails, snails and a few "big moss balls" to squeeze once a week, you can live 4 months without cleaning out the whole bowl. That being said, my bettas are "BRILLIANT IN COLOR" and enjoying their new habitat, not the 1 cup of water they were born in. My 1 gallon aquariums are the decoration of my home and provide immeasurable enjoyment day and night. People don't even notice air ducts or light cords strategically placed (still within sight) which I assume this tank was originally designed to eliminate awkward cords and aquarium gear.
