I use Cica because I have red acne prone skin and use tretinoin. I used to use La Roche. Their cica cream has the consistency of diaper rash cream. It's very protective and the thickness wasn't an issue since I use it as a buffer. It was too thick to wear during the day with or without makeup. This cream goes on easily under makeup, so I give it 5 stars. I don't need or use Cica during the day so I'm not sure I'll keep buying it, but it's very moisturizing and very light. It's great for half my dose of tretinoin, which La Roche isn't so good at. It's so thick that it's difficult to mix. So if you want lightness and blendability, then this is for you. If you need nighttime processing and protection, keep looking.
