IN SHORT: YES. YES SIR. YUP! LONG: I KNOW how much they cost, and I think it's absolutely STUPID. BUT! The joy it brings my baby is priceless. Once you see the joy it brings to your child day after day, you'll forget the price. Get these shorter and taller blocks (same stuff) for a few bucks more and it was the best solution! It's the perfect size! My toddler is 1 year old and spends most of his life crawling up a small ramp, sitting on top and watching tv, playing with his toys and bossing us around lol. Also he improved his crawling, climbing, balance, depth perception, rolling things down, how to slide down alone, now on his stomach lol, crawling up stairs, standing and more - it really helps in developing BIG TIME. Take this one and blocks of the same material (if you want to know which ones, I've reviewed them. I'm too lazy to look for you lol). And literally you're ready to go. Don't buy any other toys - invest in these toys and blocks. You won't be missing a toy - I can give my son a spoon and he'll have the time of his life with it and his giant cubes.
