Important cooler!

I bought a couple of these in a couple of years. everything is fine and working. In contrast, I also have a pair of USB3 adapters with "different body type" that have been paired with a branded microSD card. These lightweight mini USB3 adapters are blown or failed. Presumably due to overheating of the chip inside due to the lack of a cooler. This USB3 mini microSD adapter is "heavy/bulky" and keeps the chip and card cool when you use it to transfer large long files/data like I do. Nobody failed.
