Review on Improved Neewer 16 Channel Wireless Remote FM Flash Speedlite Radio Trigger with 2.5mm PC Receiver for Flash Units Featuring Universal Hot Shoe Compatibility by Tony Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Almost 5 stars for camera and photo

I love Neewer products, but I immediately encountered a problem. Not critical, but I think it's more of a design flaw. I'm not commenting on what I "want" from it. but what it says it will/might do. Good - works on my Canon 80D. So 70D etc. should come. - It goes well with shoes. great fit. Even the transmitter on my flash is good and solid. - The flashes work normally. I don't want two at the same time so I use the receiver. I installed the other one as a 2nd slave. If you want them both to fire. it will do. - The range seems accurate. I haven't looked into the range much, but 30m (100ft) seems about right. The bad news is that the transmitter battery doesn't have a door. so you have to take it apart. Not a big deal, but I'd rather have easy access to the battery. It's just a screw, but still. - The battery cover on the receivers appears to be a design flaw. If you look at the attached photos. There are 3 showing the location of the compartments. It makes opening the door an honest pain. It may not always work, but it comes very close to what is likely to happen to you. I hope I just have a bad batch and not everyone has this problem. Not critical, but only 1 cm more and 5 stars. I will update this review as soon as I can test it more.
