Works as a replacement for the original Hunter receiver

I bought this to replace the receiver that came with Hunter's new ceiling fan. I dropped the original receiver during installation and it broke. All my fault. Hunter wanted $55 for a service part on their website and won't be available in a few months. It did the same job for less money and was readily available. Paired with the hunter console, everything works fine the first time. There are one star reviews complaining that this isn't an internet connected receiver, which just isn't fair. It makes no claim to it. It only connects locally and works fine.
