After reading several reviews of this lamp I didn't know what to expect. The light was well packaged and boxed in a double box so there were no problems with damage in transit. When I opened it I was surprised at how heavy it seemed. This is not a cheap plastic lantern and it appears to be very well made. I was concerned that the mounting brackets might have issues due to other people's issues, but they were fine. The mounts themselves feel a bit flimsy, but once installed they feel solid enough. I've seen similar lamps three times more expensive. I definitely recommend it. UPDATE: Well I've had it for a few days and tonight my wife pointed out that the 12 lights on the right are off. To be honest, I didn't expect it to last until the two-year warranty, but it's a bit early for it to fail. I've downgraded my 5 star review to 3 and am about to get another one to give them the benefit of the doubt. It's probably a wiring issue, not a blinking lightbulb as it's a cluster of a dozen bulbs grouped together. UPDATE 2: I received the replacement very quickly and installed it right away. It works perfectly all summer long. I have to say that this light is too bright to use on the highway when there are other cars around. I only use it on the track (and when people cut me off on the highway) :p I'm increasing my rating to five stars. I am very happy.
