Review on Universal Control Pedal Sewing Machine by Shantel Griffin

I have a sewing machine that is over 100 years old. The cable was unsafe and I needed a replacement. When I saw that I could buy a new cable and pedal I was ecstatic! However, the sight of flimsy, cheap metal pedals versus heavy, thick, retro metal pedals made me sad. The speed variability that people are talking about is also an issue. The speed was either fast or even faster. I realized I could replace the cable and keep my old pedal. Because the tension was the same. I'm not an electrician. and I can't recommend that to you because electricity is a dangerous thing. but it seems as simple as changing the outlet. So I took both pedals apart and was able to replace the old cable. I'm so glad I have a safety wire and my old retro style pedal. This product made it possible!
