Right out of the box I felt a strange adhesive on the top tape. I ignored it and continued to follow the installation instructions. The screen protector is also flush with all four bezels, leading to the dreaded issue of the MacBook not closing. The magnetic strip is THICK and placed so close to the top bezel that if you leave the laptop on while closing, it won't close completely. Back to the glue, the magnetic stripe has been COATED with this really tacky glue. I don't know why the strip needs glue when it's supposed to be magnetic and removable. All in all it was a gigantic waste of money. Just buy Targus.
