Trust the reviews that call it "cheap junk ". I'm sorry I didn't.

Reading the reviews I wrongly thought that those who called it "cheap junk" were exaggerating. Spring. they weren't! Not at all! It's thin, flimsy plastic with a poor hinge that tends to get caught. This is a dollar store item that is grossly inflated. Worse: this plastic does not withstand a strong impact (boys play, throw an object); it will tear and potentially be quite dangerous. I don't consider it a safe toy. Definitely NOT for toddlers. For the price, I expected a solid, safe toy; it's nothing but. Save yourself a lot of money: hands off.
