Holes lets more stuff in than I thought

Product arrived promptly. The bag was bigger than I what I thought it would be, so my pump was kind of buried inside. I did measure my pump and the bag dimensions, but did not take into consideration the depth of the bag with the pump inside. This bag stops big stuff from getting into the pump, but not fine material. We had weeks of ash fallout from Northern CA fires that left a layer on the pond surface. The bag didn't stop that from getting into the pump. Fire ash is a new nationwide problem, so I'm not sure any product currently addresses that problem.

Have not had it long enough to know.

The bag may not be completely waterproof, allowing water and debris to leak through
