Review on Walker Quiet-Flow 21276 Exhaust Muffler for Enhanced Performance by Jeffrey Crutcher

I bought this silencer in May 2015, now less than 2 1/2 years later it has rusty holes and is getting loud. Yes, it's covered by a lifetime warranty, but you must return the old muffler to the dealer you bought it from if purchased from Tenneco or Monroe, Michigan. The warranty includes replacement of the device. I kinda need a muffler to drive my car! To put things in perspective, this muffler replaced an 18 year old Mopar OEM muffler, yes it's original! Walker claims their stainless steel mufflers have "three times the life expectancy of typical aluminized mufflers." Let's do the math, 30 (the months I've had) divided by 3 is 10. So Walker is saying the other mufflers were only in the last 10 months? Wow! I've never seen stainless steel rust so quickly.
