More than it seems!
Much more than I expected when I looked at the picture. I would send it back but not worth paying for return shipping. The space between the shelves is very large - 3-4 wooden cutting boards could be placed between them. As a result it takes up a lot of space on my countertop and all 5 of my cutting boards fit easily in 2 slots so most of it is just empty space. I suppose I could use it to store baking supplies vertically, but my cabinets are too short to stand cookie sheets etc upright. I would only recommend this if you have a lot of desk space or lots and lots of chopping boards/baking sheets/pans that you want to stand upright.
