I read about these cable clips online and decided to give it a try. I specifically used them to run a long ethernet cable around my house. I attached all of these clips to the wooden floor. Only half of them survived the day. Installation was pretty easy. They just use their double sided tape. I also made sure to clean and dry the area of the floor where I attached these clips. The problem is that the brackets didn't hold. Any light pressure, usually a foot slap (not tangled or kicked, mind you), applies enough pressure to instantly release these clamps. maybe they weren't meant for that, so who knows, maybe my fault. Just a warning to all other buyers that these clamps will not perform well if subjected to any type of pressure. I replaced these clips with Attom Tech cable clips and the clips hold tight. These clips are also much cheaper than these.
