I bought it in 2013. I've never had the problems others have with it getting sticky and I live in Houston where car temps can start at 113 on some of the hottest days if the car was parked outside, that is up until this year. I noticed the side of my phone was sticky. I always thought I made it sticky - like my fingers got sticky at some point earlier in the day (I eat a lot of oranges). After a few weeks I realized it was a roadster. The left slot was starting to melt so I replaced it with a Roadster Mini. So far, so good. Considering the cost and the time I've been using it with no problems I think it's a great product. However, I give a word of caution. If you have to stop hard or make a sharp turn, it may not snag on the dash. Under the circumstances, my phone screen broke a few times because it fell out and hit the windshield. Luckily I had these HD glass screensavers, but that's definitely something you should be aware of.
