I just got these in June 2021 and haven't used them much so will be updating my review in the future to reflect how they are doing over time wear out over time. I use a paper textured paint protector to make my tips wear out faster and I need a cheaper alternative to the Apple brand. So far they have worked with my Apple Pen (2nd Gen) without any problems. However, the feeling is completely different. The tip is lighter and made of cheaper material and is therefore less slippery. The audio is also very loud (when using a textured screen protector). My original tip was softer, while this plastic tip sounds very scratchy, like fingernails on a chalkboard. It doesn't bother me too much, but it might make some grit their teeth. Overall they work well (so far I've seen some reviews saying they stop working after a while) and it's definitely better than buying the expensive Apple brand. I'd rather deal with squeaky noises than actually scratching my iPad's screen from overuse of the tip!
