I consider myself an experienced user of BT headsets, so my inexperience is unlikely to be the cause of this problem. I regularly use a BT headset with my Pixel 3a and my hearing aids connect to my phone with no problems either. When I opened the box I was impressed with this item. The packaging was impressive and the device itself looked well built. It is clear that designers and manufacturers have high hopes for this brand. However, this thing just does NOT stay connected to my phone. I also had pairing issues. As many of you know, you need to "pair" a BT device with your phone to allow both devices to talk to each other and to ensure that the two devices are compatible. This is the first step to using BT. I'm having trouble pairing my phone with this headset. The headset does not enter the discovery phase to allow pairing. It took about 30 attempts to create a pair. That's about 25 tries too many, even for a problem device. (My phone connects perfectly and connects to other headsets) Next is the connection. After the two devices are paired, you need to instruct the devices to pair with each other and start exchanging data. Every time I moved my head with the headphones disconnected. Every time I got up; the connection is broken. I couldn't stay connected for more than 30 seconds. Luckily the sound was great during those 30 seconds and as I said the device seems well built. But what's the point of having great sounding headphones that you can't use? I will return it as soon as possible and try a slightly more expensive device.
