Review on 🐶 Jute Puppy Dog Bite Sleeves for Young Dogs Bite Training, Perfect for German Shepherd/Belgium Malinois/Schutzhund/Pitbull Puppy Training by Guadalupe Culii

My 2 year old German Shepherd mix (65lbs) loves to play rough and he loves his teeth shut to use. This bite cuff allows me to pamper him on both trips while protecting myself. The case itself is very durable and the stitching has held up well after a few months of use. Yes, I've been waiting for quite a while to post this review to see how the sleeve withstands multiple wolf attacks (just kidding - he's a sweet boy at heart). There are a few jets which I suspect would be the first to go. The used black grip on the outside was removed and torn after about 3 sessions of play. Also the inner black belt at the top of the sleeve, which I can't understand the function of, was compromised by dog jaws. Otherwise the bite sleeve was very good - the doggo couldn't bite holes in it, didn't tear the edges (not because it wouldn't have tried), and the internal handle by which I hold the sleeve has survived the tug of war of industrial strength between me and the dog. Please note that if your dog is like mine, your dog will go to the parts of the sleeve that are easiest for him to grab with his jaws, i.e. (1) the narrower of the two long edges and (2) either of the open ends at the top or below. As soon as he realized he was about to pinch the top open end of the sleeve (where my shoulder is), I had to adjust our play so he didn't lunge at me. This isn't a flaw on the jack itself. Just a mention that you still need to be careful with a powerful dog in rough play mode, even if you're wearing a biting sleeve. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. This is my go-to item for when my dog is in wolf mode and really, really wants to play and play hard.
