Works great, just what I needed

This works great, I used a single Cat6 cable about 80ft long and got a great picture straight away. I have a stereo receiver with 2 zone output and I can send the second zone to another room on the other side of the house. There is also an HDMI output on the transmitter side, so it acts like a splitter, one signal is output as HDMI and the other as Ethernet. .One thing struck me when trying to install the wall panel. I had an 80 foot line from the transmitter to the jack to jack connector in the wall plate. Finally, a small connection cable to the receiver. I started blinking intermittently compared to when I had a home run cable. Going down a few notches with the DIP switch fixed it. So if you have multiple couplers in your rig, it will likely reduce the maximum range. It's okay, but just plan for it. I wish I had more category 6 lines!

Pros
  • It can transmit HDMI 1080P over 50 meters (164 feet) with UTP Cat5e/6. Perfect for Home/Office for PC, Game Consoles, Blu-Ray Players/Media Players
Cons
  • Crumpled
