My previous chair was dying. I chose this chair because I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new office chair. For more than 8 hours a day it was much better than I expected! The cushions are firm but great for long stays in the chair. The materials are great and I don't expect it to break down any time soon. It took me 30-45 minutes to assemble. Be sure to suggest someone to help put on the back. It's doable on my own, but the last time I had help it would have taken a long time. Overall I really like the chair, especially for the price!
