My first dog, Winnie, went to heaven 3 days ago. I ordered this urn necklace a few days before because she was very ill. I have the one with two paw prints on my heart. Of all the memorial necklaces on Revane, I found this to be the cutest and most elegant. I like that it's small. It's not bulky at all, so if you want to wear it as a necklace or keychain, it won't be flashy or heavy. I chose not to receive her ashes for various reasons. Instead, I kept some of their fur. It reminds me how gentle she was and how comforting it was to pet her. An urn necklace can't hold much, but I managed to get a pinch of fur in it so it fits snugly. Please keep in mind that she was a short-haired dachshund and even then her hair was too long for the urn and I had to shorten it a bit. So. If you plan to put your pet's hair here, it may not be suitable for long-haired dogs. . However, since I still have some of their fur, I might buy another one to keep on my keys. so she is always with me. The necklace is currently hanging on the wall near my bedroom door where I hang its leash. Along with the necklace, I hung up her collar. I placed a card with their paw prints over these objects. Every time I walk in and out of my bedroom, I see her little memorial. It fills me with sadness but also helps me to remember how grateful and fortunate I am to have her in my life for 13 wonderful years. She was the embodiment of love and I never want to forget her. This urn is a great way to remember your loved one and the lessons he or she left for you.
