Review on 🎧 dreamGEAR Xbox 360 X-Talk Solo Wired Headset for Enhanced Gaming Experience by Shannon Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm sold! - So far, so good!

First of all I'm very picky about headsets. I don't need stereo sound, and wireless sounds awful to me, so I'm sticking with regular OEM wired headsets with a boom. They don't seem to make the ones they used to make anymore, so I've been trying to find another reliable headset that sounds good and doesn't require a yell to get it to pick up. I think I've found my new favorite model. It has a nice soft earbud that covers the entire ear and a long stem that adjusts to fit any ear. It has an old-school style jack that has volume and mute in a plug-in on the controller (that's the only downside I've had as I like to plug in a chat bar and I can't with that style can do) . Everyone I speak to says I sound MUCH clearer than before, and other people speak clearer too. I have to hold the boom a little further away from the mic because it picks up the sound a little better than I'm used to. All in all, I am very happy to have found a suitable headset at such a reasonable price. If it breaks for me, it's cheap enough that I just buy another one to replace. I already bought another one for our other Xbox. I'm sold! - If I encounter any problems I will update this review. UPDATE: After a few hours of use, the dart came loose, wouldn't stay upright, and was spinning. I just smeared it with superglue and glued it on and all is good.
