Love this bed and my kitten and my 28 lb Jack Russell Terrier too! This bed is very sturdy and well built and looks beautiful. It's not ugly like some cat beds and looks good in my room with my black furniture. I have it next to my bed and at window level and my cat loves to hang out in it and watch the squirrels outside. He sleeps in it every night and snoozes in it during the day. He plays with a ball attached to it, but doesn't spend much time at the bottom of the cave, but I've seen him play with toys there. He sometimes uses a scratching post, but he has a separate, larger one that he uses more often. My kitty loves it and I've even caught my dog in it a few times! It holds my kitty with no problem and can take my dogs weight with no damage although she looks awkward in it 😂. I'm sure this bed will hold up as my cat grows until the dog takes over. Rschunimagu
