I bought 2 of these for my new rescue kitty in 2019 and he absolutely LOVES them both and these are his favorite places to sleep and play! He prefers the hammock and will rarely, if ever, use the small railing beneath it. This product was easy to assemble but there are nails holding the block up just under the bed. The purpose of this is to make the bed stable so it doesn't sink too far with the cat's weight. Ours was unfastened and there were about 4 or 5 small nails exposed. We couldn't hold the block so we had to remove the nails for the safety of the cats. It was very easy to assemble, my friend helped me but even if I was alone it would be done in less than 10 minutes. I think it took us 7 because we put the sticks in first. This product is very soft and is exactly as advertised. It was easy to assemble, small and compact. The only issue we had with assembly was that the part that was pinned to the side panel just below the hammock fell off with a bit of pressure.
