Not bad could be better

In the photo my 11kg black cat fills the hammock completely. On arrival the box was in terrible condition and was falling apart, but nothing was damaged or missing. The assembly was surprisingly difficult as the screw for the wall base seems too short (but it actually works), and very difficult because of the odd shape of the wall with a curve at the top and a hammock attached to it. to line up the holes to screw it together. Overall I was really impressed with the tunnel and disappointed with the hammock. Even though my 11 lb cat refuses to go in the tunnel (he goes halfway to get a treat) he has plenty of room. The hole in the wall is about 7" in diameter and 8" in diameter at the end of the tunnel on the scratching post. I think the ridiculous amount of extra tissue in the tunnel discourages my two cats from using it. And yes, it is a winding tunnel. Is the hammock attached to the wall with a rope at two ends? Otherwise, the rim rests on a fabric-covered block of wood to support it. The other end is put between the scratching post. The edge of the wall keeps falling under that block of wood and I wonder how the rope hasn't snapped under his weight. Although he seems to like it. Even if it doesn't last, it was a pretty cheap purchase.
