Review on 🐱 Small and Medium Cat Trees: Enhance Your Cat's Playground with a Trixie Cat Post, Hammock, and Original Baza, Complete with Toy by Chris Worlds

I read all the reviews on Trixie products and chose the medium Baza because my kitty loves getting into pockets, holes and just about anything so I knew she would would love to add a shallow bowl to the bottom. It arrived on time but the box was badly crumpled and the tape was peeling off leaving the box torn and almost completely open. First strike! I was also surprised that it was shipped from Sam's warehouse - it only had the "seller" billing address for shipping. I do NOT like Sam's and I would never order if I knew it came from there! Anyway, I opened the box and immediately noticed a few flaws. There was an empty, crumpled package, which I understood should have contained screws and a wrench. All parts were packed in a box, i.e. the hammock and two bent sisal poles. It was supposed to take only a few minutes to assemble, but it cost me a lot of time and nerves + due to the condition of the products and the fact that the screws I found at the bottom of the box had snapped! The hammock and poles as I mentioned were bent so everything was misaligned and the new screws I had to buy couldn't be tightened enough due to the alignment causing the poles to wobble and the hammock was not secure. The quality is also absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The hammock is so flimsy and cheap. "Fur" was already molting when I collected it. The material is so thin it felt like it was about to tear. The condo is just cardboard with a very thin layer of cheap fur on it, so it's very stiff/uncomfortable and definitely won't last. The top is rock hard too. My kitty plays with EVERYTHING and she climbed into the apartment and tried to scratch the posts and immediately just looked at me like "what the heck is that"! I wouldn't feel comfortable letting her sit in the hammock or even be near because the hammock will break, the whole thing will likely tip over and the "fur" will smell like it's made out of a toxic material! This is the WORST purchase I have ever made and I am extremely dissatisfied and frankly annoyed that I received a used, cheap piece of junk! Absolute waste of money! I strongly advise against avoiding this product! Finally, the seller does not respond to my request for a refund!
