Review on πŸ”Š VARO Portable WiFi and Bluetooth Multi-Room Speaker Cube - Black (iOS Compatible) by Tonya Austin

Love these speakers

I originally bought two Varo SIDEKICK speakers for travel and they are great for that. I've shaken them in hotel rooms from Bangor to Honolulu. They could also make good home speakers for small spaces. I have since purchased several sets of all Varo Wi-Fi speakers and personally have nothing but praise for them. I really like the Varo Wi-Fi speaker line. They are a lot cheaper than the 'other' expensive brands but still work well. I don't care about bluetooth, just wifi. I laugh when I see bad reviews because it just means people are NOT reading the specs well enough about how it's supposed to work. YOU NEED A WIFI NETWORK AND YOUR IPHONE OR iPad TO REALLY WORK! Yes, they can work with the app on the Droid, but that limits the variety of music streams you can use it with. From your iPhone or iPad you can AIRPLAY ANYTHING FROM YOUR PHONE TO YOU IF YOU HAVE A WIFI NETWORK. When I travel I can't always rely on a hotel chain as some require you to go to a LOGIN page. and enter your credentials to log into the WiFi network. Such networks will NOT work with them as the speakers themselves need to be online to work. The application will help you connect each speaker to the network. You need a WiFi network where there is only one password and no additional login page, then you're done. When I get to a hotel that has this weird extra login page I just use the droid phone I have with a hotspot and that becomes a WiFi network and then I use my iPhone to connect them to the hotspot control network. no problem at home You simply enter your WiFi password in the app and you're done. They sound fantastic for their size and I like the fact that you can have TWO streams in TRUE STEREO. I like it. The Varo Vibe and Cube sound a bit better, but you really can't travel with them, which is why I have the Cube and Vibe at home. And I have Varo Subwoofer Towers on my cubes at home for amazing streaming. You can use Bluetooth when Wi-Fi isn't available, but that defeats the purpose of lossless stereo streaming. I have Varo sets all over my house and stream (up to 8 at a time) around the house. I love these speakers.
