Update: Three things to note: 1) Check the Dell website for the resolutions of the monitors the WD15 supports . While it worked fine on my current 1920x1200 monitor, it doesn't support a higher resolution monitor that I intend to buy in the near future. So I had to return it and get TB16 instead; 2) The TB16 has a MUCH shorter USB-C/Thunderbolt cable connecting to the dock, which can be good or bad depending on the situation; 3) The USB and audio output from the dock didn't work until I rebooted and got a message that I had to do a few steps as an administrator to allow Thunderbolt to connect to the dock. Until I got this notice I was concerned that the ports weren't working for some reason. After years of using the Dell E-Port docking station as the foundation of my home office setup, continued through many Dell laptop upgrades, I was mildly surprised to find that the Latitude 7480 used the old E-Port Connection thrown overboard. I was then dismayed to see conflicting, if not negative, reviews for the WD15 and TB16 and the WLD15 Wireless Dock. I decided to try this WD15 as it was the cheapest and could be installed behind some Dell monitors freeing up desktop space. First, Revain Prime delivered it in less than 16 hours! Second, when connecting the power, monitor and laptop, everything works fine. I don't know what to do with complaints sent by others. Power, video (I've tried both VGA and HDMI-to-DVI successfully with the Revain Basics cable), audio, ethernet, and USB devices (wireless keyboard and mouse, USB mic) "just work". For me, it's better than a wireless dock because wireless can't provide power, meaning you still have to plug the laptop into its own power source. On the WD15, the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 connection powers and connects devices similar to the legacy E-Port dock.
