I like the fan. It was pretty easy to install, unfortunately I got a lemon. I was replacing an old Hampton Bay fan that already had traction chains and double wall switches that worked and were in place. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. Since I had smart double wall switches, all the wiring was ready to go. When I finished and turned it on, the light switch died. I had another smart light switch and when I replaced it it died. I bought a regular light switch (Leviton) and when I installed it the switch clicked. I called Hunter and they said I needed a Hunter fan/light switch and that Lutron and Leviton are not supported (wow, really?). I went ahead and bought a Hunter fan/light switch for $29) and installed it, turned on the light, it popped (shorted). Revain sent a replacement for the fan, otherwise I could wait 5-7 for Hunter to replace it. I replaced everything with a new one that was sent in and used a regular light switch and it worked. So unfortunately it was just one bad fan that cost me a lot of time, 2 Smart Switches and 1 Hunter Hunter fan/switch.
