Beautifully packaged silk pillowcase, I would even give it as a gift. He likes the color of silk, (grey) shimmering silver. It has a good zipper and fits my pillow perfectly. (King size on a standard pillowcase) I have another silk pillowcase and this one is very similar. I usually hand wash it in the sink in the morning and hang it on a towel rail to dry. It dries quickly and is ready for evening wear. I wash it every few days. The set includes washing instructions. It's easy to clean and although I can iron it occasionally, it's convenient to use immediately after hanging and before drying. I've found that my hair isn't as messy when I sleep on this pillowcase. I got it mainly for my face (prevents lines and wrinkles) and my hair (which is sensitive at times). I'm so glad I finally paid the money to buy this little luxury. Hopefully it will last a long time with proper care. I love natural materials and silk is so smooth and soft yet beautiful and durable. Update: I really like the pillowcase, but after only a few months of use and after hand washing and/or machine washing, front loading in a laundry bag and always line drying, the zipper breaks on the edge of the silk. I then manually sewed the silk back onto the zipper using tiny stitches, but it soon ripped again! Has anyone had this problem? I don't know how else to fix it or wash it so it doesn't tear. I thought I would be so careful with that.
