Global Management System (GMS) is a comprehensive networking toolset and platform that provides management, troubleshooting, and monitoring capabilities for any wide area network (WAN), including multiple private line WANs. It supports IP connectivity protocols such as TCP/IP, ATM, Frame Relay, SONET/SDH, FDDI, ISDN, leased lines, etc., and offers built-in functions to manage various types of physical and logical connections. GMS provides remote management and control over an entire LAN or WAN using any device capable of Internet access and browser software. GMS is designed to allow a network administrator to configure, monitor, and manage his or her LAN(s) or WAN(s) without requiring direct access to each node. This enables the use of third party tools to control the LAN(s) or WAN(s). GMS supports various network technologies including Ethernet, Fiber Channel, SCSI, Fibre Channel, and other proprietary protocols.
