Review on 2 in 1 Set Gamepad Storage Bag DOBE (TNS-19252c) (Switch) by Jnis Uptis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

Another minus (did not fit) - It is impossible to charge and play at the same time. When charging, the gamepad turns off. Compared mainly with HORI Split Pad Pro and Dobe TNS 0160. In general, I liked the gamepad, but I don’t advise buying this particular model, but I advise you to purchase Dobe TNS 0160. Due to the fact that TNS 0160 is wider and the sticks are located normally, it’s 100 times more convenient to play, you don’t have to bend and intercept the gamepad.

Pros
  • The most important plus is that you can reassign buttons in comparison with hori. It is defined as a pro controller with all the pluses. Comfortable to hold, very comfortable grip, the grip is close to the xbox gamepad. There is a gyroscope - a huge plus. There is vibration - rather a controversial point, because it will also be in the minuses, the main thing is that you can always turn it off if it interferes) Replaceable tips on the right stick. The whole structure feels very monolithic and there is no chatter like with joy horses. A very cool bag for transportation is included, it fits 4 joy cons and there is still room left.
Cons
  • Perhaps the main drawback of this model is the controversial ergonomics. The grip of the gamepad itself is very comfortable, but the location of the sticks is completely unfortunate. For example, on the right side, the stick is located immediately below the buttons, and as a result, by pressing the "Y" button, I almost always touched the stick, so I replaced it with the smallest one (plug). But the problem did not end there, an even bigger problem begins in games where you often have to interact with the right stick and the xyab buttons. Due to the location of the stick, you have to bend your finger in an unnatural position, and if you often have to quickly press the buttons, then touch the stick, the finger starts to hurt. And the controller itself has to be constantly intercepted. Those. play shooters where you have to shoot the triggers, twirl the camera on the sticks and rarely press the buttons - ok. In games where the right stick is not needed, it is also very good. Playing Zelda, Assassin, where you have to constantly turn the camera and press the buttons is not very convenient. It was because of this that he refused to use this gamepad further. I advise you to purchase the Dobe TNS 0160 model from this manufacturer, everything is the same, only the gamepad is wider and much more comfortable, it is more convenient to move the camera and press the buttons, because the finger does not have to be bent. The most terrible vibration, this is not even the level of cheap Chinese mobile phones, here the level is several times lower. Very strong, loud and annoying. Thankfully you can turn it off. It is a pity that you can not reduce the level by 70 percent. There are no rear buttons. There is no stand, it would be great if the developers screwed the stand in the manner of the OLED version, otherwise the gamepad cannot be installed in any way. Weight, with the console together 585 grams, for some it may be a minus, but it is not felt (by the way, with this gamepad, the weight is very close to the weight of the Steam deck) It is not possible to use the docking station without removing the console from the controller. Extra-minus - the chipped prefix enters this gamepad a little worse and, in general, puts a little pressure on the back of the case, which can possibly lead to negative consequences.
