I bought an old sofa after the manufacturer's exhibition in 1983 at cost price. He's tall, bulky, and has oddly wide, square arms. I've tried MANY types of sofa covers and none of them looked good or fit. Most of the stretch cases you see now are pictured with rounded wing armrests, and mine is square. This slipcover fits my sofa perfectly - even where the style of the sofa has made it impossible to fit a slipcover in the past. .The fabric is very soft and hugs the sofa snugly. The color is almost the same as the original so it goes well with my living room color scheme (a nice softer earth brown/tan). One caveat: be sure to stretch the cover when you put it on the sofa. The fabric is very stretchy, but there are seams for the armrests, so be careful not to pull too hard to damage the seam. Overall great for a sofa that is difficult to install. Durable soft fabric that hugs your sofa.
