Review on Beck Arnley 131 2307 Water Pump by Elder Unogu

Comparing cheap versus expensive water pumps, I've noticed that cheap pumps lack a long "finger" in the gasket that separates the Water flow passes through the pump. I paid twice as much for this one because the photo shows a pad with a finger on it and the pad I received doesn't. It probably won't cause any ill effects, but I think it might be a mark of quality. Then when I tightened the bolts I couldn't mount the bushing onto the bolt next to the 90° exhaust pipe. The pump on the car had a groove in the outlet that was the perfect size to make room for the pipe, and that groove didn't have any at all. Instead, I had to use an open-end wrench and estimate the torque. I hope it doesn't drip. I think I could buy it for half the price and get the same quality, or spend twice as much and be a lot more confident in my repair.
