Review on Gear Keeper RT3 5601 Retractable Rotation by Robert Aiono

This item is rated for 2 lbs and may last after the spool is fully discharged. I was under the impression that if I installed a 2 lb tool, that "TOOL" would hold it with the spool fully wound. I actually plugged the cable into an 8oz power adapter and it couldn't hold it without pulling the cable completely out of the spool. Also, I was looking for a retractable spool that could lock at a specific length. The way this tool is made, if you attach it to a belt or belt loop, it's more likely to pull down your pants or rip the belt loop from your clothing. I would not recommend this item.
