Review on Hatley Little Classic Boots Child Boys' Shoes by Rick Everett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very cute but scratches easily

I ordered three different wellies for my 5 year old daughter to try on. All different brands, same size. At first she wanted a patterned pair with unicorns or rainbows, but when she put on Hatley's pink rain boots, she said they suited her better and wanted to keep them. Other brands seemed to pinch in the ankle area, but this one suited her better. She wears a size 13 in tennis shoes, soccer shoes, ballet flats and cowgirl boots, but that size 13 was a bit big. I had her wear thick socks to keep her boots from slipping and that seemed to help. I don't mind them being a little bigger because that just means that she can wear them now and hopefully later in the fall when we have extra rain. WARNING if you have OCD like me. The pink boots have scuffs that are not easy to wipe off. I've found that using a stain remover and a scrubbing brush is the only way to get rid of these stains. I have to do this every time she wears them or they look dirty. After each cleaning they look like new again, but not without my efforts.
