Hatley Little Classic Boots Child Boys' Shoes Review

Bought these for my 5 year old son in November, in January the sole of one of the boots ripped completely. I read similar reviews but decided to give it a try. I would not buy again.

The appearance of the boot is extremely disappointing. I ordered navy blue and white scuffs on the boots. I tried deleting them but it didn't work. I was hesitant to order because of the reviews but when I went to the Hatley store in Canada they had great stuff so I ordered. Apparently not the best idea.

Ordered size 4 for my medium height 23 month old grandson. Boots fit perfectly to my surprise. As mentioned, when I first opened the box they seemed small. Its foot measures 5.3 inches. Some European children's shoe size charts give measurements in centimeters or inches, which is more helpful than height/weight when shopping for shoes. I usually love this brand of toddler wellies. My son wore his first pair for almost 2 years and he wore them every day for 9 months of the year (we live in Seattle). them for the summer. We store them indoors in a cool, dry place when not in use. I ordered three different wellies for my 5 year old daughter to try on. All different brands, same size. At first she wanted a patterned pair with unicorns or rainbows, but when she put on Hatley's pink rain boots, she said they suited her better and wanted to keep them.
