I just received these stockings (tried others) because I have venous insufficiency. You've had multiple ankle surgeries where the foot and leg meet and it hurts when pressure on the wound has healed/scarred. My orthopedist says I have to wear 20-30 compression to keep the wound from reopening. I like the lighter material on the Truforms toes as other narrow toe stockings never stick to the toes, but I wish the stockings were made of the same lighter material which compresses the top of the ankle (see image where standing/sitting form wrinkles). Position). Between these folds is the sensitive area of the healed wound, which, in addition to the pressure of the stockings, digs into my leg and leaves a scar. Sometimes in the weaker area of the scar! I tried to put on a gasket, even taped the foot. Wearing tight stockings is very difficult. I'm sure there are other people with a similar problem as I've seen comments talking about it. Truform. Please consider making them for us who need less tension on the top of the ankle.
