This nailer works reasonably well. I had a Hitachi 18ga. a nail gun that I used for several years but the plastic bottom of the loading slot broke. It is 16ga. The nailer drives 21/2" nails flush and leaves no extra dimples in the wood. The only thing that bothers me is the coating on the nose. It's covered in a rubber coating that obviously offers the ultimate in efficiency and durability. I suppose I can re-dip the tip if the coating comes off, but as good as the rest of this product is, it's an unnecessary oversight.
