Hardware cable worked like clockwork! Perfect. I then downloaded the software with no problems, but when I installed it, a message popped up saying I must have a Sandisk or Western Digital drive installed. I actually had both. The software did not install as instructed, but there was a link to "upgrade" the software for an additional $29.99. I had to spend significantly more time contacting Sandisk and/or Acronis to get a link to a "workaround" to solve my problem. There were no instructions on how to use it and support didn't respond after the link was sent. I just clicked the link and then reinstalled the original download and it worked. The problem here is that the product description doesn't say you need a Sandisk or Western Digital drive for this to work. You just need to download and install the product without any further steps. How many people end up spending $29.99 when it should be free?
