The product is light on the foot. I use them regularly for regular use and have never felt any discomfort. The shoes appear to be splash proof but I don't think this will prevent water getting in due to the breathable clothing which is why I avoid crossing small streams when hiking. I recommend this product for those who are looking for cheap shoes.
