This bag is perfect for journaling or planning. I use a modified bind magazine, which I adhere to religiously, so I always like to have some pins, small scissors, repositionable glue, a tiny hole punch, etc., all of which are very useful for the occasion. It's not tiny, but it's a good size and shape to fit in any of the small backpacks I usually carry around with me. The zipper is good, the fabric and lining are strong, and the compartmented spaces are just enough to keep my stuff organized. In some places the colors don't match, for example the zipper is a completely different pink than the bag. I want them to match, but that's ok. The only other thing is that the elastic grip loops on the insert are quite small so it is very difficult to insert the grips into the loops unless the grips have a smooth taper. The hinges are too small for normal adult fingers to open. It's almost enough for me to give up and take out the insoles, but I hope they stretch over time. I have three cases at a time and this is my favorite for practicality. It's great for my journaling needs!
