ONMIER Ice Cube Trays with Lids, Sphere Ice Ball Maker and Large Square Ice Cube Molds are fun to have around for drinks and beverages. The set of 2 trays and lids are made of 100% food-grade Silicone, BPA free and are reusable. The lids keep the trays firm and protect the ice. The flexible trays make 8 ice cubes each - 1 tray makes 8 big 1.75 inch round balls and other tray makes 8 large, square 2-inch cubes. They are huge. They will melt very slowly so any cold beverages you put them in will stay cold a lot longer than usual. The ice balls or cubes are easy to release as you just need to twist the tray and they come right out. I thought it would be fun to freeze some fruit or flowers in the balls and cubes and liven up a drink. I tried it some small strawberries, some sprigs of lavender, and some pieces of mint. It worked well. The other thing I did was to make the ice balls and cubes of the liquid I was planning to serve them in. I froze some lemonade and it made a very good ice cube. I am going to try tea ice balls when it's ice tea time and maybe experiment with chocolate milk for the kids.I am pleased with these cubes as I didn't know how I would like such a big cube. I find I do.
