Review on 🏠 ROBOTIME Miniature Dollhouse - Perfect Gift for Girlfriend by Robert Sample

I bought 3 of these and have already finished the Locus living room and am currently working on Sam's study. It has a lot of character and there are many ways to personalize it to your liking. There are some videos on youtube of people making their own conclusions so you can get some ideas (just watch locus diy on youtube and there are at least 3 versions). I would recommend that you don't lighten the wood on the turntable and guitar with paper and instead use wood stain and sealer as covering real wood with a picture of a tree makes very little sense IMO. If you don't have one or want a cheap wood stain I highly recommend using the instant coffee technique from Where the Gnomes Live on YouTube, just seal it with a Mod Podge so you don't stain your miniatures. I used the same technique on the guitar and turntable and made my own bottom out of popsicle sticks. Printed guides to finding each part and instructions in English make assembly easy. I only made color copies of all printed forms in case I messed something up. Also a big plus is that each set comes with tweezers, PVA glue and silicone glue. So if this is your first dollhouse set, you're good to go. All I need is candelabra tongs and a bucket of water (these should work as you'll need tongs and needle nose pliers for crooked hands. I ended up using my own white glue from a bottle by c needle applicator (I bought these: 10pcs, 30ml, needle bottle applicator, quilling applicator, do it yourself, precision bottle) but the silicone glue that came with it worked great and I still have enough left over for my other 2 projects Only downside was the light kit.The wires are so flimsy I kept cutting them with my Xacto no matter how lightly I hammered it to remove the plastic coating.After a few frustrating attempts I stopped using the light kit (not a big loss) as the Locus set has a large window and white walls that look better with "natural" light from your own home hen than with a tiny orange light. I'll try again after I've done Sam's research. I'm posting example thumbnails for size comparison, the turntable and guitar are smaller than my watch (Samsung Gear S3) and that knob on the turntable? This is a piece of popsicle, they are so tiny but they are very easy to put together!
