Review on Enhance Performance with Pace Setter 70-1183 Black Exhaust Header by Robert Rasmussen

Fits 2WD 22RE 4Runner Automatic although there is another model (Pace Setter 70-1184) that says it is for 2WD pickup and 4Rrunner but I doubt it will fit the 2WD 4Runner, which has factory 4x4 suspension parts and isn't as low as a 2WD pickup. I bought this model mainly because the Revain had an unused open box return and the original header had some cracks/leaks. This kit comes with cheap paper gaskets that work well. I only used one for the engine head as the old gasket wore out and temporarily reused the EGR gaskets as they are a flexible metal gasket. When I put everything back together and started the engine, I noticed an exhaust leak between the manifold mating surface and the head where there was an empty spot for a bolt. The factory manifold was blocking that spot, so I used the bolt that held the EGR tube in place on the factory manifold to fix the leak. It will smoke for a while, burn off the anti-rust coating, as far as performance increases I haven't noticed a difference and I doubt you will unless you do other upgrades. The only difference I noticed was that the exhaust noise got a little louder.
